Obed Díaz Rodríguez is a technology strategist, marketing director, and multidisciplinary creator whose work operates at the intersection of data, culture, and human development. His career spans information technology, digital transformation, creative direction, and community leadership, with a consistent focus on building systems that expand access, understanding, and opportunity.

Obed’s creative work spans visual arts, music, storytelling, and conceptual design. With over four decades of exploration across artistic and technological mediums, his work reflects a long-standing inquiry into perception, meaning, and the role of tools in shaping human experience.Obed’s creative philosophy is grounded in the belief that expression can be generated, meaning remains human.

He currently serves as Marketing Director at Synectics, an information technology and data analytics company supporting federal agencies and research institutions. Alongside his work in technology, Obed is the founder of Bisoncomm Group, a marketing, media, and digital transformation firm based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Through Bisoncomm, he has developed branding systems, digital platforms, and content strategies for businesses across industries, including technology, tourism, retail, and the wine sector.

As a community Leader and Advocate, Obed plays an active leadership role within the Hispanic business community as a Director at the Northern Virginia Hispanic-American Chamber of Commerce (NOVAHCC). His work focuses on promoting economic growth, business development, and strategic partnerships that strengthen the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

A central component of his mission is STEM advocacy for Hispanic youth. Drawing from his own early exposure to science and technology in Puerto Rico, Obed actively promotes access to STEM education as a pathway toward long-term socioeconomic development. His efforts include program development, partnerships with educational institutions, and initiatives aimed at building future workforce pipelines in emerging technologies.

He is also the founder of the Bisongates Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on expanding educational opportunities for K–12 students through programs in STEM, the arts, and entrepreneurship. The foundation is designed to operate across public, educational, civic, and faith-based sectors, with an emphasis on scalable, partnership-driven impact.

In addition to his technical and creative work, Obed is an author, speaker, and community contributor. His writing and speaking engagements focus on leadership, education, entrepreneurship, and cultural transformation, particularly within the Hispanic community.

He is also the creator and host of multiple content initiatives, including podcast and media projects centered on personal development, faith-informed leadership, and community impact.
